3E Solutions supplies good quality salt reqired in Conventional salt charcoal earthings in Jaipur and all Rajasthan. We also supply other things required for earthings like Charcoal, GI and copper plate , GI and copper strips, Clamps and GI pipe with required hardware.
Quantity of salt required
IS:3043 require salt and charcoal for both Pipe and Plate type earthings. The salt help to increase the conductivity of the surrounding soil to absorb the fault current from earthing pepe or plate.
Generally in a 2×2 Plate earthing, 2 bags of 25 kg each of Salts are required. Both salt and charcoal are filled surrounding plate or pipe in alternative layers.
The Salt charcoal Plate earthings are most used earthings which require digging of a 2.5 feet x 2.5 feet hole minimum 10 feet deep hole in earth. Conventional sizes in Copper are 600x600x3 mm, 450x450x1.5 mm and 300x300x1 mm. In GI, readily available sizes are 600x600x6 mm and 600x600x3mm.
Earthing Material List for Plate Earthings
As per IS 3043 suggested, Pl find below the earthing materials list required for Plate earthings:
1. Copper earthing Plate 600x600x3 or GI earthing Plate 600x600x6 mm
2. GI Pipe for watering 48 mm Or 40 mm Outer dia- B- Class
3. GI strip 50×6 mm or Copper Strip 32×6 mm – single run or double run till top ( approx 3 meter)
4. Interconnection strip 50×6 mm GI or 35×6 mm Copper , with 4 holes -10 mm for earthing strip connection and 6 mm holes for Clamp connection, if 2 runs og GI/ Copper strip are brought to the top.
5. GI Clamp 40mm or 48 mm as per GI pipe size- 3 Nos
6. Funnel – as per GI Pipe.
7. Salt – 2 bags of 25 kg each
8. Charcoal – small size preferred- 40 kg bag- 1 Nos.
